Prospective Record Access Has Now Been Postponed
You may be aware that NHS England had determined that from 1st November 2022 all patients will have complete prospective access to their medical records, with surgeries being required to enable this en masse. This instruction also included automatically provisioning prospective access for patients who turn 16 years of age. This service was due to go live at the beginning of December 2022.
Following a further update from NHS England on the 29th November 2022, we will be pausing the implementation of this until we receive further guidance from the BMA, RCGP and our local commissioning team.
