Our Practice Nurses are fully trained to provide advice regarding immunisations for travelling abroad, malaria prophylaxis and general advice about keeping yourself healthy whilst travelling. Initial information including whether vaccinations are suggested for your destination can be found at https://travelhealthpro.org.uk/countries .
For information, advice and to be seen (if appropriate), please complete a Travel Risk Assessment Form and return to the practice.
Forms can be emailed to the Practice at Jericho.email@example.com. Paper copies are also available at Reception.
After we have received your form, a Practice Nurse will be in touch with you, so please ensure that we have up-to-date contact information for you. Please allow 3 working days to receive this initial contact. You will not be able to book travel appointments or obtain travel advice via Reception.
If you are travelling to an area where vaccinations are recommended, we ideally need to see you 6-8 weeks before you travel to allow for a course of vaccinations to be completed and for the vaccinations to take effect.
