Drugs and Alcohol Advice
Our Practice is happy to take on patients who have issues with drug and/or alcohol.
If you are concerned about your drinking or drug use by all means speak to one of the nurses or GPs about this, or you can contact the local Drug and Alcohol Service, Turning Point

Telephone: 01865 261690
They are able to offer a variety of treatment options to suit every patient and their individual needs, including input from recovery workers as well as medical detoxification from alcohol and opiate substitution therapy (OST)
For patients on OST who are stable may choose to be seen here at the surgery by our Turning Point specialist drugs worker, Ryan Lowe.
He works with the GPs to offer sustained support and joined up care for patients who are stable and receiving substitute prescriptions for opiate dependence. He has a surgery on alternate weeks on a Friday.
