How to Order a Repeat Prescription
Other ways to order
- Use our online form
- By Hand - you can either hand the request slip in at reception or put it in our post box.
- Post - post it to us.
- Chemist - take a prescription request to one of our local chemists.
We will issue the prescription electronically to your pharmacy – please specify which pharmacy you would like to use.
If you are taking ongoing medication then it will usually be possible for you to request it as a repeat prescription. Certain medications cannot be requested this way as you may need to see/speak to the doctor first.
Please allow 5 working days for prescriptions to be processed as we are finding in the current environment that pharmacies can take some time to complete a prescription. It is important that you request your medications in plenty of time. Note that we are not open on weekends, so 5 working days usually equates to 1 calendar week.
We do not work Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
We do not take prescription requests over the telephone or via email
Medication Reviews
If you obtain repeat prescriptions from us then these must be reviewed by a doctor at least once a year.
Sometimes it is possible to do this via a telephone consultation or you may be asked to attend the surgery
