Covid Proof of vaccine, travel issues and NHS App issues

FAQs for Covid

If you are asking for proof of vaccine and had both under the NHS

  • Contact 119 or download NHS App

If you are asking for proof of vaccine but had 1st vaccine outside England

  • Download NHS App - proof of vaccine will appear on immunisation page only.
  • Or apply for Patient Access (with access to medical records) - proof of vaccine will appear on immunisation page only.

If you had vaccine at another clinic and it is not showing on the medical record a week later.

  • Please send in your proof and we will chase it up with Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning group.

If you want an early 2nd vaccination for travel.

  • Unfortunately, an early 2nd vaccination cannot be given early for travel reasons.
  • Current guidance on 2nd vaccinations is 8 weeks between the 1st and 2nd doses for patients.

If you want an early 2nd vaccination as you are pregnant and want to be vaccinated before you have your baby.

  • Unfortunately, an early 2nd vaccination cannot be given early unless it is for medical reasons
  • Current guidance on 2nd vaccinations is 8 weeks between the 1st and 2nd doses for patients

NHS App problems

  • If you need your patient Access linkage , contact us and we can supply this.
  • Patients should contact the NHS App help desk, if they need any other help (you can do this from the App)
